Discounted Uber Rides for Halloween Announced
As Halloween approaches, residents in three New Mexico counties have the opportunity to take advantage of discounted Uber rides. The initiative, part of the Take a Ride on Us program, aims to promote safe travel during holiday celebrations by reducing barriers to using rideshare services.
Counties Eligible for the Uber Promo
The discounted ride offer is available exclusively in Bernalillo County, Sandoval County, and Santa Fe County. Residents and visitors in these areas can benefit from the limited-time Uber Halloween discount to help reduce the risk of impaired driving over the holiday weekend.
How to Redeem the Uber Halloween Discount
To claim the discount, users must open the Uber app, navigate to the “vouchers” section, and enter the code HALLOW26. This Uber promo code provides up to $10 off two separate Uber trips between 10 a.m. on Friday, October 30, and 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 1. The discount is applicable to rides only, excluding Uber Eats and driver tips, and is capped at the first 2,500 rides on a first-come, first-served basis.
Take a Ride on Us: Program Details
The Take a Ride on Us program, launched in 2017, has delivered more than 84,000 safe rides in the Albuquerque metro area. The program often provides ride vouchers during holidays and special events as part of its impaired driving prevention outreach. Its goal is to offer safer alternatives for those who might otherwise drive under the influence, enhancing community safety during high-risk times.
Conditions and Limitations
The holiday ride discount via the Uber discount code is only valid in the specified counties. Riders should be aware that the offer does not apply to food delivery or driver gratuities. Only the first 2,500 eligible rides using the voucher code will receive the benefit, reinforcing the importance of early participation. Participants are encouraged to plan ahead to ensure availability of the promotional discount.
Impact of the Safe Rides Program
By providing these ride vouchers during Halloween, Take a Ride on Us continues its effort to reduce impaired driving and maintain safer roads. The ongoing program reflects a commitment to supporting holiday celebrations with responsible transportation choices in the Albuquerque metro area and beyond. Those in Bernalillo, Sandoval, and Santa Fe counties are encouraged to consider the offer and prioritize safe travel as Halloween festivities unfold.
